The HESI® A2 exam measures the knowledge and personality of nursing school applicants. How Many Questions Are On the HESI® A2 Test?
Each section of the HESI® A2 exam is comprised of 25-50 multiple-choice questions. There are sections on Math, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology. You'll also face an unscored personality profile and learning style section. In order to pass, you'll need to answer 75 to 80 percent of the questions correctly. Each nursing program sets their own passing score, though, so your school can tell you more about what score you should be aiming for.
